1) I created a page for my posts (News & Updates)
2) I used that page as a static page for my posts
3) I installed the plugin and went to theme customizer to modify settings for my blog page. I do not see any changes.

I'm using Divi version 4.7.7.

It could be a smart addition to a module upgrade.
