Solved Divi builder buttons not displaying properly

    Brand new install of Divi on Siteground server. No plugins activated. The buttons are not showing the icons, so not really workable. ET suggested I disable the "External Links Rewrite" option on the hosting account, which I did, did not help. Any ideas?

    For this type of issue, it's best for you to refer ET directly.

    For me, I never heard of such issue before, so couldn't advice more on that.

    This Issue is my problem too!! Like the picture above!
    WP and Divi installed yesterday on Siteground, no active plugins, no other problems.
    Safe-mode doesn´t help.

    PLEASE research and take a look on it. Maybe it´s a new bug in divi with bigger scope...

    While this seems to have been resolved, I contacted Siteground to have them turn this off for me, but they just argued that this option no longer exists in the new user interface. So, I am stuck. Any thoughts?

    To check whether it's a plugin issue, you may try to enable Safe Mode in WP Admin > Divi > Support Center > Safe Mode > Enabled.

    If it works fine in Safe Mode, meaning one of your plugins is causing the issue & you will need to enable / disable your plugins one by one to find the culprit.

    Thank you for the response; however, I found what the issue was. There is a setting in the Divi Themes setup called, Builder Default Interaction Mode. It was set to click mode, but I changed it to hover mode and now I can see the controls.

    This happened to me after a site migration. Try Theme Options -> Builder -> Advanced -> Static CSS File Generation -> Clear.

    Hello all,

    I spent 2 hours trying to figure this one out. What solved it for me was disabling dynamic CSS within the Divi theme. You can find this option at:

    WP Dashboard > Divi > Theme options > General > Performance

    This one. Not the dynamic Icons, it won't be enough. You must turn off specifically THIS option will fix it. TY, community hero!
