Changing default layout for a post

    Hi,

    We have a custom layout for a post that includes a global header and footer module, and then a standard Text module in the middle. To use this layout currently, a user has to either duplicate a current post with this layout or import a saved Divi layout to a new post.

    Is there any way within Divi to create a new post and have WordPress automatically pull in a specific layout for that post without having to do it manually either via importing a layout or duplicating a post?

    Our hosting platform hasn't upgraded to version 4.0 yet and it could be a while. Are there any other workarounds?

    If that's the case, you will need to:
    1. Make custom single.php file in your child theme
    2. Or use plugin like this to have premade design for all your blog posts: https://blog.diviultimate.com/
