Solved Unable to Save Pages

    Hello. Whenever i am trying to save my work on pages i am getting this error.

    "An error has occurred while saving your page. Various problems can cause a save to fail, such as a lack of server resources, firewall blockages, plugin conflicts or server misconfiguration. You can try saving again by clicking Try Again, or you can download a backup of your unsaved page by clicking Download Backup. Backups can be restored using the portability system while next editing your page.

    Contacting your host and asking them to increase the following PHP variables may help: memory_limit, max_execution_time, upload_max_filesize, post_max_size, max_input_time, max_input_vars. In addition, auditing your firewall error log (such as ModSecurity) may reveal false positives that are preventing saves from completing.

    Lastly, it is recommended that you temporarily disable all WordPress plugins and browser extensions and try to save again to determine if something is causing a conflict"

    I have updated my php version, have increased all the php variables to the recommended need of Divi, Have disabled all the plugins but still i am unable to save.
    Divi chat support is of no use. They dont reply. Please help.

    There are few things to check:

    1. Fulfill all the requirements stated in WP Admin > Divi > Support Center > System Status
    2. Enable Safe Mode & see if it works:WP Admin > Divi > Support Center > Safe Mode > Enabled
    3. If the above doesn't work, then check if your page has any inline CSS in a text / code module. For example:
    Code:
    Log In or Sign Up to view this code.
    **If yes, try to remove it & see if you can save it then.
    **Remember to keep a copy of your inline CSS for you to place it elsewhere.
    **If this works, meaning your hosting server firewall is somehow blocking the saving of inline CSS.

    Hey admin, thanks for this but i figured out the reason my self. TheModsecurity was the real issue

    This issue was found in my website because if was using woocommerce sliders plugin. As my woocommerce products where above 10000 . The plugin was unable to save in divi builder because of excess storage issues. Try to reduce the storage size of the plugin.
    Ex in this below shortcodes of Woo Products Slider Pro plugin :
    [woopspro_products_slider] as this code when i put in divi section it didn't support because it as too much products above 100000.
    [woopspro_products_slider limit = "10" slide_to_scroll=”2″ ] as this code when i put in divi section it did support because the limit as been reduced to limit of 10.
    Thus stopped showing the error

    Do you mind sharing the solution? Running into the same issue on several Divi websites and I did find disabling mod_security would allow us to save a page again, but we of course don't want to disable ModSecurity. Can't figure out what to do though between the web host support and Divi support.

    We're having exactly the same issue and disabling ModSecurity solved it. Would be good to know what we need to adjust for things to work and still have ModSecurity running.

    For mod_security, you should contact your web host about it. Ask them to check if there's error in your mod_security error log & ask them to whitelist it.
