Solved How to make the Featured Image a video?

I'm building a vlog site with category pages that will have two columns of posts. Each post is the featured image, title, date, category, and text description. I want the user to be able to launch the (YouTube) video from the category page, rather than go to the single post page. Ideally, the video would open in a lightbox, but it could also be embedded, swapping the featured image for the video. I've found numerous plugins that say they will replace the featured image with a video, and others that say they'll launch a lightbox. None of them work with Divi. Divi Support finally told me that there's no way to replace the featured image with a video. Has anyone come up with a workaround/plugin/code snippet that will accomplish this? The site will have hundreds of videos, so it's important that the layout be clean and that it's easy to access the video content.

I'm on WP 5.2.5 and Divi 4.4.1

Yes, I've done that. It doesn't replace the featured image with the video.

 

Do you mean add the link to the content instead of putting the link in the Featured Video Plus plugin? Or in addition to?
