Hidden Fullwidth Picture should only load on desktop not mobile

    Hi,

    I have a question. I have two fullwidth pictures and I want that the one in portrait mode should only be shown on mobile and my landscape picture only on the desktop version. But I also want that only the picture load that will be displayed , because my page should load as fast as possible. When I use the visibility button then the picture loads still in the background and it also pops up for a short time, before it is hidden.

    Could anybody help me... I searched also super long for a tutorial how I can solve the problem, but I couldn't find any so far...

    You can just use responsive settings to change your image. See screenshot below:

    Hi, thanks for your reply.
    Now I have done it like this, but the image I selected for mobile don't show up on my phone.
    Also I would like to know if there is no other option that not all pictures load in the background.

    That's the only option for you, to change image based on screen size.

    You might want to try to disable lazy load image & see if it works.

    You may also try to use a normal section with width & max-width 100% + normal image module (with the responsive image settings).
