Solved Change background colour of Footer Style 1 CTA

    I need to change the background colour of the blue Call To Action banner which appears at the top of Footer Style 1. However, the default blue colour does not go away even though it is not applied as a "background" in the Section, Row, or Call To Action or Button modules. How can the blue be replaced with a different colour?

    It's a CSS background overlay. You can change it in the Section Settings > Advanced > Custom CSS > Before

    That works, but as a suggestion, I think it would simplify things if we could change the background colour/image by just going to Section Settings > Background. Perhaps it might be possible to include that in an update to Divi Ultimate?

    It's because we use that custom CSS to make background overlay, which should work fine in all cases. The normal Divi option background overlay doesn't work for parallax background image.
    **By background overlay, I'm referring to the overlay color on the background image.

    Our background overlay is added through CSS Class in the Section settings > Advanced > CSS Class: free-background-overlay

    And you can edit the background overlay color in the Section settings > Advanced > Custom CSS > Before, which we think is the easiest way for users to edit the color. Instead of diving into the custom CSS.
