Solved Changes to Footer Style 1 do not apply to pages immediately

If I make a change to Footer Style 1, and then save it, the change does not appear on any pages unless I do this:

- open the page
- enable Visual Builder for that page
- Save page
- exit Visual Builder

After exiting Visual Builder, the change to the Footer takes effect.

But, if I then visit another page, the change to the Footer will not be visible on that page until I repeat the steps above. So, it is as if the Footer is not working properly as a universal element.

Is there something special that needs to be done in order for footer changes to take effect throughout the entire site immediately?
