To avoid cropping of the featured image, try to add the below code at the bottom of your child theme functions.php:
    Code:

Thanks, I figured out a workaround but I have another issue with the sidebar.
I would like the sidebar to display after the related posts in both mobile and tablet devices so when I choose the option: IN MOBILE, MOVE SIDEBAR TO FOOTER, it works great, however, I lose all the ads that I manually placed. Is there another way to ensure that the sidebar appears after related posts without me losing my ads?

We used custom PHP to display another sidebar above the footer. Are your ads not part of the sidebar?

My ads are in my sidebar, is there a way to make it under the related posts without putting it in the footer?

Not sure why your ads is not rendered on the second sidebar. The rest of the sidebar items are loaded fine.

For a quick workaround, just add the ads in the Divi Theme Builder footer.

    Here are the steps:

    1. Go to WP Admin > Divi > Theme Builder

    2. Create a new template & select All Posts:

    3. Then edit your All Posts Footer.

    4. Add a new section at the top & add a code module for your ads.

    5. And lastly, set your ads Section Settings > Advanced > Visibility to be hidden in desktop.

    6. Save & done.

Thanks you but Im having two other issues: on my mobile device the hamburger on my menu is showing up below the logo but only on my post pages, on all others it's normal and on the desktop it's normal as well. I'll attach screen shots of both. The other issue is that my related posts are completely missing.

Try the below CSS in Divi > Theme Options > Custom CSS:
    Code:
Log In or Sign Up to view this code.
From what I see, you didn't use our custom blog template.
**Do note that if you set a custom body for Divi Theme Builder > All Posts template, then it will override our blog template.

Yup. The WP Admin > Divi > Theme Builder > All Posts template > Custom Body will override our blog template. See screenshot below:

In the Divi Theme Builder template, you may add a blog module at the bottom to show the related post. Make sure to select Current Category (see screenshot below).

It should work. Just tested on my side & it works well. Perhaps you added it wrongly.

But I noticed that you are now using other related post plugin, which works fine as well.

When I do this the all blog posts show for that category which is not what I want on my post pages. Is there a way to make them not show so I could have the related posts, not so happy with the free plugin.

Not quite sure what you meant.

Basically, related posts are posts that are from the same category.

So when you ticked Current Category, it will show only those posts within the same category.
**If you only need 3 related posts, then set the post count to be 3.

So the posts are my related posts then? How do I get them to show randomly? Currently, they only show alphabetically.

For Divi blog module, it doesn’t have any sort options. It will only sort the post from newest to oldest.

As to why it shows alphabetically on your site, might be due to some plugins that change the blog module sorting.

I have a plugin that displays alphabetically so that's definitely why, well I guess I'll have to use a plugin for related post in that case. Thanks for being so responsive = )

Sorry to bother you again but my social icons under my featured image for my posts are missing, I'm currently using divi Monarch. Do you know why this could be, they are there when I disable the plugin. Thanks.
