    Hello,

    I'm building a website for a client.

I'm working on the finishing touches. When I deliver the website to my client he wants it running under his original url.

So here is my question, when I'm migrating the website to a new url, will the "url links" automatically change to the new website url or will I manually have to change all of the urls?

    Thanks!

How are you planning to migrate the website?

Well, My hosting provider does this for me. Unless you can give me a good alternative?

My original idea was to disable the old URL and then use it on the new website I built for my client. However, I'm not sure if this is the most optimal idea. I'd love to hear other solutions.

    Best,
    Lauwrens

If your hosting is doing the migration then probably there is nothing for you to do in that case.

If they do the migration, and the website is not fully functional on the new URL, then maybe you need to rethink the choice of hosting professionals. :)

hehe sounds fair enough, if they can't complete the task correctly I'll just have to hire you instead =D

I didn't say that. :) I am just saying that if they are professionals you have nothing to worry about. :)
