Solved Error importing libraries

    Divi Ultimate Child Theme

    When I try to import the Divi Ultimate libraries I get an error for all files

    "Failed to import “****************)”: Invalid post type et_pb_layout"

    Tried uninstalling and reinstalling but getting the same error. Most recent versions of the plugin, Divi, WordPress and PHP7.2

    Upon further checking, it seems to be issue with the latest Divi version. We will report this issue to official Divi support & see what they say. Will update here.

    In the meanwhile, you will need to use an older Divi version to do the import.

    Official Divi support already acknowledged the xml import issue. It's added to their bug list to be fixed in future Divi version. Though no ETA is given, but they will address the issue as quickly as possible based on their development team's current workload and the severity of the issue when compared to the severity of other open issues.

    ElegantThemes still haven't fixed the xml import bug in the latest Divi version.

    For the time being, you will need to install an older version of Divi to do the xml import.

    Great we just setup a GCP DIVI site and we were thinking may be this is GCP error anyhow thank you for this update will use older ver of divi now.
    this is what i am going to do now to let you all know i hope this will work.

    1. Delete latest ver of DIVI
    2. Install Older ver of DIVI
    3. Then DIVI Ultimate
    4- than Import
    5- then DIVI Ultimate Plugin.

    now i am afraid if i upgrade to latest ver of divi hope this stay working good. :(

    After importing, you may update Divi to the latest version.

    It might be better to use a newer Divi version 4.0+ to do the import. Kindly check your PM, just in case you need one.
