Solved Cannot Edit the Layout

    Every time I try to customize it following the instructions, this screen loads as the default and continues to endlessly spin.

    Try to go to WP Admin > Settings > Permalink & click save & see if it works.

    That worked, BUT nothing saves. And yes, we have all the settings on the server properly set. And I have tried to download the backup, but nothing downloads either.

    Yep! That's what did it. I disabled Wordfence and it worked. I assume once I re-enable Wordfence once done customizing it will be fine. Thanks!
