Woocommerce source code that I don't need

    Hello all,

    I noticed that I have a section in my source code that shows "Woocommerce", but I've never installed the Woocommerce plugin and I don't need it for this website.

    could you please help me to figure out where is it coming from, and if it affects the loading time of the site.

    It's added by the core Divi parent theme. The only thing you can do is to suggest ElegantThemes to remove the Woocommerce code if Woocommerce plugin is not used: https://www.elegantthemes.com/members-area/help/

    Thank you for your response, I'm gonna contact theme to remove this code. Do you think there is a lot of unused code in the code Divi theme? If so, what are the sections that I can ask them to remove to reduce the size of my site? Thank you in advance.

    Not sure about that. But I don't think the Woocommerce CSS will make much difference to your site, as it's minimal.

    So I don't understand what makes the size of my site big, I optimized all the pictures based on tutorials, I followed the GTmetrix instructions, but I still have the size of my homepage in MB I want to reduce it to Kb. Any advice? Thank you in advance.

    You may use Gtmetrix to test your site: https://gtmetrix.com/

    Then look at the Waterfall tab for any files with huge size.
    **Do note that Divi itself has few hundreds kb of file (if I'm not wrong).
