Solved Help I did something to a setting now not displaying across entire screen

Discussion in 'Basic Support Forum' started by Norman Gregory Fernandez, Jan 9, 2021.

  1. My site is using the Magazine theme. it is located at https://poornorman.com I did something inside the theme customizer, now the block below the header that is supposed to be full screen and the footer are not displaying across the entire screen. I have already tried enabling and disabling the box layout setting. I am not sure what I did but my backup homepage is doing the same thing so it is something in the theme customizer.

  2. I am trying to restore from a backup now. You may want to have a backup theme option so that we can revert to a previous customization. I hope the restore works.

  3. Luckily a restore from backup worked but I lost the customization I did over the past hour. I will wait for you to tell me what you think happened.

Not sure about that. If you face this issue again, let us know & we will look into it.

But it might be a Divi Static CSS File Cache, where you just need to clear it: WP Admin > Divi > Theme Options > Builder > Advanced > Static CSS File Generation > Clear

  5. Luckily I had a backup that was only 2 hours old. It would be nice to have a roll back function where we can go back to a previous saved state.

There's an import / export function for the Theme Customizer, but your issue doesn't seem to be related to Theme Customizer.

As for pages, there are revision as well to rollback, but your issue seems to happen on multiple pages.

Thus, I guess it's just a cache issue with static CSS file.
