    Hi All,

I have 2 posts that I have configured as sticky, and I have been unable to get them to appear at the top of the list of posts on my website. I have trued using Divi Safe Mode (all plugins disabled) and I am not using a child theme but no matter what I do, all the posts sort in date order even the sticky posts.

I am not sure that the sticky posts will solve the post order I am seeking anyway. I have a grid of 6 (3x2) blog entries on my blog page, I want the first 5 blog posts to be from Category A and the 6th to be from Category B. Any thoughts on how I can accomplish this? The 6th post, from Category B (a category containing only 1 post), would be the sticky post.

    Glen

I should also mention that if there are less than 5 posts to be displayed from Category A, then the post from Category B should appear as the next post. For example, if Category A only has 3 posts, then the Category B post would appear in the 4th position.

Did you enable sticky as per the screenshot below:

I tested on my demo site: After I enabled my post as sticky, it did show up as the first post in the blog module.

Yes, I have enabled sticky on 2 posts, and the word STIKY appears after the names of both on the list of blog posts in the admin section.

One last thing to try is to update Divi & Wordpress to the latest version & clear your cache & see if it works. Also try to enable Safe Mode & see if it helps: WP Admin > Divi > Support Center > Safe Mode > Enabled

If still not working, then you might want to refer official Divi support about it: https://www.elegantthemes.com/members-area/help/

There were minor updates to both Divi and WordPress but neither fixed the issue. I tried Safe Mode before and after the updates, no change. I will have to reach out to Elegant Themes. I am not sure sticky posts will enable be to do what I am looking to do anyway, I want the highlighted post to appear as the last post in a 6 post (3x2) grid.

The sticky post will be sorted as the first post, not the last post.

Hi, was there any solution to this problem. I noticed the standard sticky post featured in wordpress does NOT work with the Divi blog module. Appearantly a bug. Would there be a plugin or work around to fix this?
