Projects versus Pages

    Sorry new in Divi
    basic question: in WP, why is better to use Projects instead of Pages?
    what is the difference

    The quick answer is that Pages are used to be linked with a menu. And project are special pages that can be used with the project module. For example if you have customer reviews you can add them as a project and then display all of them on the home page. If you add another review is dynamically pulled to the home page.

    This is just the basic there are a lot of other differences and use cases but this should at least give you a start.

    ok thanks. so "Projects" comes with Divi? because i cannot see it with other themes?
    otherwise can you show me where i can read more about Projects and the difference with Pages?

    Projects is actually a Custom Post Type that comes with Divi theme.

    You may search for 'custom post type in Wordpress' to learn more about it.

    Yes indeed PROJECT is added as a custom post type with DIVI. If you dont know yet what custom post types are just stick to pages. I very rarely use PROJECTS on any of my sites. But start looking into custom post types as they are very useful in larger websites.
