Text and buttons disappeared on mobile after upgrading to Divi 4.0

I have the same problem where even when I enter in the text for desktop, tablet AND phone, either the tablet, phone or sometimes both text entries will randomly disappear and will no longer display in the page itself and will also be gone from the editing environment as if I never entered it. And yes I do make sure to save the text changes when I make them

 

I have the same problem!

The text and buttons of my website dissapeared. On mobile, desktop and tablet. In the preview mode and in the published mode, when people visit the website, there's no text and buttons there. Only empty rows with background images.

When editing in the visual builder, I can see the text and buttons when I hover over it. So they're still there, but it's like there should be a button to click and the text is visible again without disappearing when you're not hovering over it.

I also tried the Theme Options > Builder > Advanced > 'Clear' button on the Generating Static CSS stuff, but it did not make any difference, except for the layout of the Menu coming back (that suddenly changed back to the basic layout from the theme).

I have updated Divi Builder and Wordpress, but the issue appeared even before that..

It's like there's a bug in Divi or something.

 

There is a known bug that if the content is exactly the same in the tablet and mobile phone views then content will randomly start to disappear so the official answer is to only put content in the desktop view in that case however I have found that the behavior is inconsistent Therefore sometimes content will still disappear

 

Lately I have also found the opposite behavior happening in other words if I do not place any thing in the mobile view tabs then no content will show Even when I have content entered into the desktop view so this problem is really crazy and it drives me nuts

 

I have the same problem. It works okay and then suddenly the text stops showing for tablet / mobile. This is really a bug, it is a problem after the last update, so I hope you will investigate this and fix it please

 

Yes I will report this as a bug. Sorry I thought this was the developers help page Thank you for the fast reply.

 

I have tried a lot and almost gotten 'mad' but think I have found the reason
When you don't need other text for tablet or mobile make sure the smartphone button is grey and not blue.
The field isn't blank anymore when the smartphone button is pressed (blue) and other text will be placed in the box.
