Solved How to use one image across Divi Page? Header, body, footer?

    Greetings,

I hope you are doing well.

I've been searching for a while how to use one image/background image across an entire Divi Page?
The issue I have is that I have to use the image 3 times. For the header, body and footer.
I don't see any options in Divi to allow me to achieve my desired look and feel.
It's really frustrating, since Google doesn't have answers either.

I'm not a coder, so I don't know if and how it can be achieved through CSS. Again, Google is not helping.
As explained, I just need to use 1 background image across all my pages in all the sections, header, body and footer. The image shouldn't be added to the sections individually as it is now. It needs to blend properly and not display as 3 different sections, where the image is clearly seen as being "split" or that the sections are clearly different from each other.

Thank you for any advice and guidance,
    Have a great day ahead.

    That's the point though.
I need to use the same image, 1 image for the entire layout. I want the same image to span across the header, body and footer.
I know I need to do it through the builder. The entire site has been developed with the builder. I need to resolve the image issue.

Currently the image is added individually to each section (header, body, footer).

Add your background image at: Theme Customizer > General Settings > Background > Background Image

Then set your header & footer section background settings to be transparent.

    Thank you,

I appreciate your assistance. For some reason my body content isn't transparent.
The only way I could fix it was to go to the Page in Wordpress: Pages> All pages and use the Divi Builder.
It seems the transparency problem was due to an incorrect setting on the Divi Builder section.
The problem is resolved and I'll update all the pages.

A simple solution to a problem that frustrated me for a while.
    Thanks again :)

    Hi,
I had the same problem and it could be solved by the settings in Theme Customizer > General Settings > Background > Background Image.
But this is a general setting for all pages. Is it also possible, to have different background images for each page, which cover header, body and footer?

For that case, you will need custom CSS to achieve what you want. If you need help on that, kindly share your URL.

Thank you very much! I solved the problem by splitting the background and assigning it to specific pages – oldschool!
