  1. Hello,

I'm currently making my first website with Divi and it's quie exciting ! I know elegantthemes for such a long time :) Also my first message here so... Hello from Belgium :)

Actually, I use the portfolio to create a catalogue of books for a publisher. Each book is a project/product. The name of each product is the title of the book ans I would like to add a field under the thumbnail and the title with... the author name.

    I join two pictures :
one of my actual portfolio with one only book :)
One from another publisher for inspiration : they have the thumbnail + Title + Author name (+ price)

    Any suggestion ?

First, it should be product, since you're selling it. Thus, you should be using Woocommerce + Woo Products module.

But by default, there's no option to add custom field & display it in the Woo Products module. You will need third party plugin to add custom field, for example ACF. And then you will need custom code to display it in the product loop. Here's a tutorial on that: https://brandandbuild.me/show-custom-fields-in-the-divi-shop-module/
