Menu not appearing on home page

  1. Hello

I have a confusing issue where the Ultimate Header plugin does not seem to be creating the header on the homepage.

Looking at the html for the home page there is no section with a classname of "free-du-plugin-header"

    As a temporary work-around; I have over-ridden the #main-header { display: none;} for the home page only.

I don't have a front-page.php in my child theme and using standard divi as the parent theme.

    please see: https://rockwaterstudio.com/

    many thanks
    Chris

None reported such issue before. Not sure what's causing the issue.

I manually made 2 versions of the plugins for you to try. Kindly delete the old header plugin & try to install the attached plugin.

Kindly try both versions one by one & let me know which versions works for you.

  3. Thanks for the reply and fixes ... no 2 works great.

No 1, still didn't show on the homepage, no sign of it even in the html.

One comment though, even with no 2, is that the content is injected into the content div. Is it not possible to inject into the header (ie: in et_before_main_content)? Wouldn't that be better for SEO?

Thanks again - very impressive support!

Since our plugin injection method somehow doesn't work on your homepage, we had to utilize the Divi hook to inject the header for you.

For Divi header hooks, there's only this hook "et_before_main_content" that allows us to inject custom header. And this hook is right after the <div id="et-main-area">. Nothing much can be done about that.

  5. OK, thanks for reply - guess that'll have to do! A bit strange that Divi haven't included an after_header action. Perhaps I should raise a feature request.
