Magazine and Newpaper Blog Layouts Show Blank

Whenever I try to use any blog layout nothing shows up, even when I select the category. I can't get any layouts to show up except for a single magazine blog header.

Secondly, I cannot change the style of my widgets headers. Whenever I make an attempt, the style changes, but not to what I just changed it too.

Initially, I thought the issue could have been a conflict with some custom CSS I had been using to create my own magazine blog layouts. I deleted that custom code and I still can't get any of these layouts to show any content.

I understand both of these issues may not make sense and that I may not be explaining the exact issue correctly aside from the fact that I purchased this child theme for the explicit purpose of using the various blog layout options, none of which I have been able to get to work. I have however gotten single post layouts to work, and they look amazing, so I would like to get my blog modules matching the single post layouts.

You need to have blog posts in order for it to display properly.

If you wish to import all the demo blog posts, the xml file can be found in: https://divi.help/threads/the-uploaded-divi-ultimate-library-xml-is-outdated.399/#post-918

Not sure what you meant by this. It's best for you to share your URL & screenshot to show the issue.

Seems like the CSS class is missing from your blog module. Can you try to re-load the magazine layout again?

Alternatively, you can just add your desired premade blog sections & drag and drop the blog modules to your desired location: https://diviultimate.com/blog-list/

I have tried re-importing the entire library and this has not fixed it. I am left with trying to delete the plugin via FTP including all folders and reinstalling. Hopefully, this will clear up whatever is blocking the styling.

Also, I cannot find any option to switch the styling to default. I will update when I have completed the reinstallation.

When you're done, you can try to create a new test page & load the magazine layout & see how it looks.

Which styling are you referring to?

When you say "load the layout" what are you referencing? Using the divi builder and selecting the magazine layout under "saved layouts"?
I have attempted to reinstall the layouts etc. and this has not made any difference, unfortunately.

The styling in question is the styling in the sidebar and now the menu here https://imgur.com/a/Em3mpWq

Until this reinstallation, the old theme menu was completely hidden.

The last image is showing the Divi library with all of the optional blog layouts. I don't have access to any of these since when I attempt to use them they all display blank pages with a generic template header.

Yes. Try to create a new test page & use the divi builder and selecting the magazine layout under "saved layouts". And share with me the URL.

You mean you want to hide yellow menu bar completely? If that's the case, try this CSS:
    Code:
Log In or Sign Up to view this code.
Not quite sure what you meant by this. Have you tried to add a new section & choose Add From Library & add the premade blog layouts? See screenshot below.

This is what happens when I try to load from a "new section" https://imgur.com/a/YQMZDB6- it appears to get hung up. When I try adding a new section then adding from the library after, none of the child theme options are available

That CSS code was a variation of what I had been using to hide the divi header entirely. Yours actually works, thank you.

The only other option I can think of is to disable all plugins and see if there is some sort of conflict happening within the stylesheets.

I want this to work as this aspect was a top reason why I purchased this child theme, and I was excited to get it working.

I completely forgot to mention that the footer only seems to like to show up on certain pages and all single post pages but on "home" it doesn't show up. When the footer does show, it is missing both the "Latest Posts" images and my logo image. I imagine once we get to the bottom of the CSS issue, it will fix all these styling image issues.

One last thing, do you think it is possible that there may be a conflict with AWS s3 buckets and/or Cloudfront?

Overall your site is behave pretty weirdly. It seems like you can't load any of the premade section & you can't use the Divi Visual Builder. Probably your hosting or plugins is causing the issue, I'm not sure. You might want to refer this issue to ElegantThemes support.

As for your missing logo in the footer, the CDN URL seems to be altered in front end. I don't have a solution for that, but I ended up helping you to do a workaround for that. So, it's now showing, together with the related posts.

As for the missing footer, it's because you set the page as blank template & so the footer is not showing. So, I changed it back to default template.

    upload_2018-10-11_11-28-22.png

And it seems like many of the CSS classes are missing & so I added it back for your magazine homepage.

Thank you for all the help it is much appreciated.
I went ahead and disabled every plugin again, however this time I was able to narrow down the plugins responsible for the disappearing content. Within those 2 plugins, there were settings enabled that was running a script which was conflicting with the layouts. I have disabled that option and it appears to have worked as the full magazine layout works now (except for one minor issue, I think you may have changed something in the CSS or elsewhere causing one of the squares to have the title and categories aligned differently than all the others.
I am not sure if you have already answered this and forgive me if you have, but have we discussed how to customize the widget headers so that they don't have a black background with yellow writing? (looks good on the divi ultimate child theme website, just doesn't work for mine) I have tried every single option and nothing seems to give me the controls to make those changes. Thanks again
