Full width header and slider very slow loading on mobile

    I was trying to put the full width slider on a site and although it loaded very fast on desktop, it was extremely slow on mobile. I decided to just do a full width header instead, figuring that would be plenty fast, but it was just as slow. The images are all less than 500kb (four slider images). I've tried all of the other optimizations I know of such as caching and eliminating render blocking resources.
