Linking blog page to menu

Hi all, can someone please talk me through step by step how to link the blog page to the menu? I can't figure it out.

I've created a template for both posts and blog in the theme builder, but linking through the wordpress reading screen brings up the original blog. Once the template is saved, how do put it on a page and link through the navigation menu?

I feel like I'm missing something super simple.
    Thanks.

You will need to first create a new 'Blog' page & set it at: WP Admin > Settings > Reading > A static page (select below) > Posts page > 'Blog' page

Once that's done, you just need to proceed to WP Admin > Appearance > Menus to create your Primary menu & place your Blog page in it.

Thank you, so I have tried to do this, as this is the way that I would normally create a wordpress blog. The Divi theme instructions say to leave the 'posts page' blank and use the theme builder to create a blog template instead. When I do this, I have no idea how to link it through a menu.

When I do as you have suggested above, it's very buggy. It works sometimes, not others, it utilises the wordpress blog theme and not the Divi design that is supposed to override it, and despite creating new posts, the images of new ones show up in previous posts while the text doesn't appear at all. All looks fine on the back end. It's so frustrating, I'm thinking of ditching the Divi theme!

Yes, you still need to create a Divi Theme Builder template for the blog page. As to link it through your menu item, you just need to place your Blog page in the menu at: WP Admin > Appearance > Menus
