Solved Big blank space on the page

    Hello community!

    I am not a programmer, so maybe this question is simple to solve, but the quick browsing of solutions on this forum didn't help me.

    On the website I am managing (for free as it is the scientific group's website), recently a big blank space appeared. It can be found in a few sections:

    However, when I am in visual editor mode there is no blank space.

    I am very confused and don't know what I did wrong to make this space appear. The latest change I made was installing Instagram plugging.

    I would appreciate it if someone could help me to solve this problem and remove this space.

    Hi Margo,

    It looks like the big blank space you're seeing is due to a large min-height setting applied to the Post Content module in the Divi Theme Builder template applied to the page. Here's what you need to do to check and resolve this:
    1. From your WordPress Dashboard, go to Divi > Theme Builder.
    2. In the Theme Builder, locate the template that is applied to the pages with the issue (Research, Outreach, Contact).
    3. Open the custom body of the template by clicking on the edit icon in the area that says "Custom Body". This opens the template in the Divi Builder.
    4. Find the "Post Content" module and open its settings.
    5. Go to "Post Content Settings > Design > Sizing > Min Height". If it's set to a very large value (over 9000px), that's what's causing the big gap on the pages.
    6. Reset or remove the min-height value and then save the changes.
    7. Check the pages on the front end to confirm that the space has been removed.
    Make sure to also clear any caches if you're using a caching plugin or service, as that might prevent you from seeing the changes immediately.
