how do i uninstall Polylang on my divi website? reading the polylang website, the instructions say:

To fully remove all Polylang data from your WordPress site, open your site’s wp-config.php file. Add define( 'PLL_REMOVE_ALL_DATA', true ); on its own line above the /* That's all, stop editing! Happy publishing. */ line.

does that work for divi, if so where is the wp-config.php file?

    Hi moshe,

This should remove the data that Polylang itself has stored in your site's database and should work regardless of the theme being used - i.e. it should work for Divi. The main difference between removing all data in this way, or not, is that if you left the data there then if you re-activated Polylang on the site all your previous translation, etc, would still be there.

Note that while this will remove the data stored by Polylang directly, it may not fully remove your integration of Polylang into your site. For example, if you've added a menu or shortcode to embed a language-switcher in your site, the menu / shortcode may remain even if they no longer function. So it would be worth, after disabling Polylang, to check for anything like this and manually delete it from Divi / WP as needed.

wp-config.php is a file stored in the main WordPress folder on your site. To modify it, access your site files via FTP/SFTP or your hosting account's file manager feature. Locate the directory WordPress is installed in and you should find the wp-config.php file there.

    Hope that helps!
