“>” Displays as “5” on WooCommerce Divi Buttons

We are having a problem with the display of WooCommerce Divi buttons. When you mouse over a button, “Add to Cart” is supposed to show as “Add to Cart >”. However, instead of the “>”, some people are seeing “5”. Different people are seeing the "5" while others are seeing the normal ">".

I first posted this on a WooCommerce forum. They suggested that this "looks like this is supposed to look like a symbol (instead of a “5”), using Divi’s ET Modules icon font", and that I should reach out to you.

Note that some also saw a similar behavior with the display of the "play" button on the overlay for a Divi Video module.

This issue has only recently shown up. It appears to be related to CSS in some way. Can someone help me with this?

    Thanks.

Yeah I have this problem with dropdown menu arrows. Also some pages look completely different than on Visual Builder

If it happens recently, then it might be due to this new Divi performance option: WP Admin > Divi > Theme Options > General > Performance > Dynamic Icons > Disabled

Try to disable that & see if it works.

This worked for me. It no longer shows a 5 when I hover over a button.
It also cured the problem of the menu not dispalying correctly on the mobile phone. Before it showed the letter "a" in place of the menu on the phone version of my site, although the full menu is displayed on the desktop version. Now it shows the horizontal bars, i.e. the recognised menu symbol on the phone.

I have just deployed my staging version to the live version to implement some changes, and the "5 button" and phone menu bug has come back on the live version. I had to go into the WP Admn section and retoggle the Dynamic Icons feature, even though it was showing disabled, and then save and exit. THe button and menu then worked correctly again.

    Weird.

We're having exactly the same issue - have tried toggling the WP Admin > Divi > Theme Options > General > Performance > Dynamic Icons > Disabled without affect. If we use the standard > icon, it works, but as soon as we change it to anything else, it's a 5 on the front end. Displays fine in the builder, but not on the user facing view. Have tried different fonts as well with no luck.

Really weird, very specific bug (why 5?).

Make sute that you hit the Save button after setting the Dynamic Icons to Disable. After doing a Full Deploy from Staging, you need to Enable Dynamic Icons, Save, Disable, and save again.
