    Hello,

I have a woocommerce site. I've created a product category page template in the DIVI Builder, I've checked the pagination display, but it doesn't appear.

It is displayed in the backend but not in the frontend

Do you have any idea what's going on?

    Thanks for your help.

I tested to add a new product category template in Divi Theme Builder. I enabled pagination & set the product count to be 1 to test the pagination:

And the pagination did show up on my site. See screenshot below:

Does your site not doing the same?

First, you may check if you're running the latest version of Divi.

If already running the latest version of Divi, then it might be a plugin conflict. Try to disable all Woo-related plugins & see if it works.

    Another thing you could try:

    upload_2025-7-18_23-27-14.png

Instead of using Product Category view type, use the default option & set to use current page.

I've deactivated all the plugins, which doesn't change anything. I've set the default content and use current page, and that doesn't change anything. I really don't understand why this is happening!

Last 2 suggestions that I have:

    1. If you have child theme activated, try to switch back to parent Divi theme & see if it works.

    2. Try to set the product count to be 1 & see if pagination shows up. If not, try to right click the product & click Inspect & see if there's any woocommerce-pagination HTML in it. See screenshot below:

    upload_2025-7-19_10-45-19.png

Make sure that you’re running the latest version of Divi, Wordpress & WooCommerce.

If all the above doesn't help, it's best for you to report the bug to official Divi support & let them have access to your site to troubleshoot it by enabling Remote Access for them at: WP Admin > Divi > Support Center > Elegant Themes Support > Remote Access

You may contact them here: https://www.elegantthemes.com/members-area/help/

Let me know how it goes.

    I haven't done a children's theme yet, I'll have to.

By the way, if you know of a tutorial for doing so, I'd love it :)

I don't understand: “Try to set the product count to be 1”.

    There's something odd about it.

When I'm on a product category page, the slug is like this:

https://mysite.fr/product-cat/art-table/ and the pagination isn't displayed. This page contains links to sub-categories. The slug, when you're in one of these sub-categories:

https://mysite.fr/product-cat/art-table/vaisselle/, and the pagination is displayed, even though you're still in the same DIVI model!

If I click on the 2 in the pagination, the slug looks like this:

    https://mysite.fr/product-cat/art-table/vaisselle/?product-page=2

    Does that sound right?

By default, there isn't any links to sub-categories in the category page. You must've added some custom coding to display it, which might be the culprit for your issue.

First, check if your Divi Theme Builder has the All Product Category Pages template:

    upload_2025-7-19_22-9-18.png

If yes, try to edit the custom body & switch to wireframe mode & see if there's any special module / code module added for the sub-categories. See screenshot below:

    upload_2025-7-19_22-13-21.png

It's totally optional to install a child theme, unless you need to add custom PHP code to the functions.php file to add functionality to your site. If you're unsure about the custom PHP code, then most likely you don't need to install the child theme.

If you ever need one, there are plenty of blank child themes out there for you to download. You may also use our Divi Ultimate Child Theme. Just install the Divi-Ultimate.zip in your WP Themes & ignore the rest. The Divi-Ultimate.zip is just an empty child theme for you to make changes on.

    There is no special module

You may try to add a sample text module in it & save it & see if it show up in your parent category page. This is to confirm whether your page is being set by the Theme Builder modules.

Another thing is that you may try to go to Divi Theme Builder template & disable your All Product Category Pages template & save & see if anything changes for your parent category page.

If you still can’t find the plugin or code that added the subcategories list, then it's best for you to report the bug to official Divi support & see what they say: https://www.elegantthemes.com/members-area/help/

No, I added thumbnails with links to subcategories.

Since it's not plugin conflict / code conflict & everything is up to date, it's best for you to report the bug to official Divi support & see what they say: https://www.elegantthemes.com/members-area/help/
