Code Module displays code not imbedded content

Hi there
I'm rebuilding an old hand coded html site using WP and Divi and I'm having a slight problem embedding our Shopify products into a page.

If I copy and paste the generated code for a collection from the Shopify site to a Divi Code Module, everything works fine. However, if I try and modify the page at all after I've copied the code, then when I open it again, the page is displaying the code in the form of text, rather than the embedded content. If I delete the module and start again, then it's fine unless I change anything on the page, then it seems to corrupt again.

Any help much appreciated!

I should say the imbedded content doesn't display in design view either for some reason and I have to go to an incognito window to see it

 

I've tried the hard refresh you suggested, but still no luck. It doesn't display the content in incognito mode either. I'll try starting again in a completely new form.

So tried a blank page. I added a section, a row and a Code Module in that. I pasted in the code from Shopify and it all worked fine. I then added a new row with a Text Module to add a title and this then caused the page to show the pasted code as text.

If I add a new section and put my text module in there, it seems fine, so it looks like the code module needs it's own section to work. It's fine now I know the problem, but is this how it should be?
