I'm trying to get a background video to autoplay when a page loads, but I'm running into issues specifically with Safari.
I've already taken the standard steps to work around autoplay restrictions:
    - The video is set to muted (required for autoplay in most browsers)
    - It's set to loop and plays inline
    - I'm aware that Low Power Mode on iOS can block autoplay entirely, even when muted
Despite this, the video still doesn't autoplay reliably in Safari on both macOS and iOS. Chrome and Firefox behave as expected.
Has anyone found a working workaround for this within Divi? A few things I'd be open to exploring:
    - A JavaScript snippet to force trigger playback
    - A fallback static image for when autoplay is blocked
    - Any Divi-specific settings or third-party plugins that handle this gracefully
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

I tested to upload a mp4 video as section background video for my Divi 4 & 5 site. And the background video did load fine on my iPhone 17 safari browser.

I believe there's a loading bug in older Divi 4 version, but it's fixed somewhere in newer Divi 4 version. If you're running a very old Divi 4 version, then try to update it to the latest Divi 4 version & clear your cache & see if it works.

Thank you, just wondering if you know the file size you uploaded. Did you try on the Safari browser and did it play?
