Blogs not displaying in date order

Hi,
I'm using the Blog block below. I added a number of blogs then changed the dates/times on them later in order to display them in date order. Unfortunately, the order hasn't changed to date order so they are displayed randomly. I added a 'standard' Divi blog module and this rearranged as expected.
Any ideas how to rectify this?

Hi,
I agree, there is no specific sort option for the blog module - the default being sorting in Date Published order. In order to rearrange the posts in the order you want, you change the published date and the posts shuffle around accordingly. This works on the default Divi blog module and I've just tested it successfully on the 2 blocks below without the need to reimport the block and paste attributes as suggested.
There is something in the above block preventing it from automatically sorting in date order.
As a further test I have just imported the problem block back in and it doesn't default to date order sorting 'out of the box'. I can't work out what order it is actually sorting in.

Is there anything in the block (code?) that could be causing this?

 

Hi, I'm not sure what you mean by this. Did you change something in the 'master' block in the generator?
If so, I've just downloaded a fresh version (Divi 4) and am still having the same issue.

The block will not import into the site. I tried in Divi Theme builder and in an individual post.
I also tried on a different site to be sure.
Additionally I tried adding a second blog block to the json file. It only imported the second blog and not the one with the problem.
Progress slider goes to 99%, dialog box disappears but the block doesn't show on the page

 

Still not working properly. Don't really know where to go from here now.
It is still not sorting in date order properly.
When the block is imported with a default of 3 posts visible it does indeed show the latest 3 blogs.
If you change the post count to 4 it looks like it adds the next most recent blog between blog 1 and 2
If you change the post count to 5 it looks like it adds the next most recent between blog 2 and 3
If you change the post count to 6 it looks like it adds the next most recent after blog 3

So for 3 posts it show them in this order 1, 2, 3
For 4 posts 1, 4, 2, 3
For 5 posts 1, 4, 2, 5, 3
For 6 posts 1, 4, 2, 5, 3, 6

 

But if you change to Full Width it then changes the design so it isn't like the block image depicting what it will look like. Your design is this.

The right hand side of this design works properly which is not dissimilar so presumably it can be done?

 

I don't know if this helps but I've just done some testing on the design above to see if I could remove the left column and just leaving the right column which is similar to the design I'm after.
Curiously, the right hand column displays in date order but as soon as the left hand column is deleted it then rearranges into the non-date order as I've described above. 1, 4, 2, 5, 3, 6 etc
It will only display in date order if there are two columns!!
Very odd behaviour.
