Solved How to use Divi Ultimate layouts with the Extra Theme

    Divi Ultimate Child Theme

    Hi, I purchased Divi Ultimate. I am torn at the moment. We need a very robust blog/magazine so I would like to use the Extra Theme, with the Walden Child theme by Aspen Grove Studios, for the blog portion. Then, use your theme layouts and customization for all the other web site pages (like Home, About, Contact, Services, etc.). Could you give me some advice please. I don't care to use a plugin to manage the site with 2 different themes (since this is a multilingual site and it is complicated enough as it is). As an example, if I want a Home Page that uses your Band layout, how would I proceed? I would copy the css somewhere? Thank you.

    I would suggest:
    1. Download the attached css.txt
    2. Open the css.txt file & copy all the text.
    3. Go to "Theme Options -> Custom CSS" & paste all the text there.

    Now you can use all our layouts without installing our child theme.

    Hopefully, our CSS doesn't have any conflict with the other child theme.

    Hi - I will try this on the test site before using it on the actual site. Will let you know how it works out (and if there are conflicts with the other theme). Thank you for your response.
