    Split it into smaller files to upload. For instance if I'm creating a gym site, upload library items for that only.

    Now I see what you mean.

    Sorry, we don't plan on doing that for now. We have such a huge library & it's troublesome to export one by one & maintain it.

    But if there are a lot of request for that, we might consider to do that.

    Admin: its looking like my issue is stemming from the same cause, my host replied with this:

    I have carefully investigated the issue and I found that the installation of the Divi Ultimate theme is not compatible with the shared hosting plan PHP variables. The theme requires more than the currently set PHP variable setup and the values required for the post_max_size, upload_max_lesize and max_execution_time are not enough for the theme .json files import.

    Even if we max out the PHP variables that are allowed on GoGeek plan, there is no option to get them to the value required by the theme.

    I advise you to consider upgrading your plan to Cloud hosting, where such limits are not imposed and we can scale the PHP variables to the recommended by the theme developers.

    this upgrade they are recommending is ridiculously expensive. I have tried the smaller file you posted earlier in this thread and it works fine.

    Sorry that you are encountering such issue.

    We plan to link all images to 3rd party services for v3.0 to ease the import process.

    For now, I will provide you with a temporary fix for your problem.
    **You will need to change all the images to your own. All the images are linked to our test site. It might be deleted later on.

    1. Download the attached file.
    2. Go to Tools -> Import -> Scroll down to "Wordpress" & click "Install Now" or "Run Importer"
    3. Import the attached file.

    And you should have all the layouts in your Divi Library.
    **Remember that you must change all the images to your own to avoid image missing in future.

    ok that worked... i just got a note from Elegant Themes tech support:

    I checked the files and one of the files is in Divi ultimate is 13.2MB, I think your max upload size may be 8MB. The reason why there is no notification on import may be due to max_execution time or some server configuration, we have not seen this issue before that a file is imported and there is no notification.

    i think if you either made your different themes as separate .json files or your images as linked files would solve the issue for me and everyone else in a similar hosting situation. Thanks!
