Solved API Call Block

    Divi Ultimate Header Plugin

    I am using a plugin called Simple Weather and am trying to use the short code in my header. It wasn't working properly so I reached out to the plugin developer and he said:

    "We've tested on your platform and indeed, the weather display in the header area is not able to connect to the weather station API. This is usually related to a restriction of the section. Unfortunately, we do not have a way to bypass this. You can try contacting Divi support and ask if they have a way to remove this restriction and allow the API call."

    Is there a way to fix this?

    Not sure what it meant by that. Basically our header plugin injects the custom header using do_shortcode function, similar to all other Divi injector plugins out there.

    It's best for you to refer official Divi support about this & see what they say: https://www.elegantthemes.com/members-area/help/
    **Just let them know you're using a header plugin to inject a custom Divi Builder header (utilizing do_shortcode function) & use the weather shortcode in it.

    You might also want to confirm whether it works or not when you're inserting the weather shortcode in a Divi Builder page.

    Hello, I spoke with divi and they said since it is working fine within the divi built page, it is not their issue. It seems to only be an issue with your header plugin. How can this be fixed?

    Yup. Done the workaround. Basically, we add the shortcode in footer widget & inject it back to the custom header.
