Replicating look of competitor's theme

Hi, I'm a customer who's already used Divi Ultimate Header for another site, and I am looking to replace an existing theme for another client that is similar in some ways to the Magazine/Newspaper theme "flavors' of your Ultimate Child Theme. Is there any way you could give me a sense of how close I could come to replicating the look and functionality of the attached home page (https://starnewsgroup.com)? Ideally I would be able to create grids of different numbers of posts, sort them by various criteria, have a top menu and a main menu, and include a breaking news "ticker" that displays the headlines of posts from a specific category. I am happy to do some CSSing of elements but just want to get a sense if this would require more effort than would be worth... Thanks for any insight you can provide.

    1. For the top section blog design, I roughly did it with our child theme & here's how it looks like:
**You will need custom CSS to make the bottom 5 row smaller.

    2. We don't have the sticky sidebar functionality.

    3. As for the header, you can use our header style 4 as a starting point: https://header4.diviultimate.com/
**It has the blog slider / breaking news "ticker" included.

Wow, that's already pretty close. Is the news ticker a Divi module or is it something that "lives" only as an item within a menu?

For a list of premade blog sections, kindly refer here: https://diviultimate.com/blog-list
For our custom header style 4, we uses blog post slider module + custom CSS styling for that:

Got it, and I could modify/tweak any of those blog sections in Divi Builder and/or by adding some custom CSS, correct? As far as the "news ticker" in custom header 4, I get it now, it's just a post slider module showing only the post title, simple!
