Solved Working Parent Theme + Child Theme

    I received Divi version 4.0.4. in my web design professional course but I don't have access to update this parent theme.

    Now I'm starting to develop my own website and I'm thinking about buying the Black Friday Package from you. That way I will have access to your Child Themes and Plugin including lifetime updates and support correct?

    Will the Ultimate Child Theme remain functioning in the future even if the Parent Theme won't be updated? Or will the Child Theme automatically update the Parent Theme?

    Otherwise, I'll have to buy both in order to be able to use your products.

    Yup. That's right.
    It will function well, even if you did not update the Parent Theme. But for v4.0.4, Divi parent theme has a bug where it affects the Woocommerce archive page + our header function.

    It's recommended to run the latest version of Divi & Wordpress for security purposes, in case there are any vulnerability in previous version. Also for bug fixes + more features.

    And in order to use the Divi premade layouts (https://www.elegantthemes.com/layouts/), you will need to have active membership with ElegantThemes as well.
