Off screen images slowing down mobile speed

I was wondering if you know of a way to lazy load off-screen images while in a mobile view for Divi.

    I'll explain.

According to Google Pagespeed, my mobile site is being slowed down by images that only appear on the desktop version of my site. Pagespeed recognizes these images as "off-screen images" and suggests to lazy load them. However, all images on my site already lazy load via a plugin.

Maybe there is a plugin that will work with Divi to lazy load these images? Or code?

    Thanks!

You can actually set different image / delete the image for tablet & phone. See screenshot below:

Thanks! Yes, I understand. I already do this. I should clarify.

The images at question do not load on my mobile device. These images are all in a slider. The slider is in a section. The section is set only to appear on desktop (I use the section settings to achieve this in a similar manner as you describe above).

Are you saying that even though the section does not appear on my mobile view, I need to set the individual module too?

You're just using Visibility option to hide the section & thus the image will still load.

You will need to go to the Slider module settings & remove the image in tablet and mobile. See screenshot below:

I am experiencing the same issue as the above poster.
I have followed the above screenshots and the image is still being parsed or processed by browsers.
    All, mobile and tablet.
The purpose of deleting the image from mobile was to take the extra work off mobile browsers.
Below are a couple of screenshots of a Web Page Test run 2/11/2022.
Also, this is the file in question.

    Request 9:

I have verified that I have deleted the image from mobile, using the Divi builder.
As you can see from the screenshots below, the image file is still being dealt with,or "loaded" by the browser.
Is there a way to delete a module from mobile only and leave the desktop in tact?
I hope that I am not coming across as complaining.
I understand that you are not being paid by Divi.

I am reaching out in the hopes that you may have a tip or direction that I can take.
Willing to do the work, I just have no desire to poke around, in the dark, so to speak.

    Apologies for the bold font.
Have no idea why this is occurring.
    It is not intentional.

    Thank you for helping us.
