Solved Globally change Divi Tablet Breakpoint

    Hi,

    Is this possible? My one site is displaying this massively enlarged single column monstrosity on an ipad pro 11 inc high res retina screen. It looks awful and is contrary to almost every other site on the entire internet I see when using it. Half a day chatting with Divi support got me nowhere so I was thinking I have two options - abandon Divi or somehow override it so that it breaks to "desktop" around 800px.

    Is overriding globally possible?

    The "tablet" scheme they have view seems really seems like a relic from 2010!

    There's no option for you change the breakpoint. It's not possible with CSS as well.

    Thus, the breakpoint should be similar among all your other Divi sites. It's weird that only one site is having this issue. Any URL to show the difference?

    Currently, the breakpoint from desktop to tablet is 981px.

    look at this vid of the two. note on the one that displays 'desktop' mode in portrait reverts to the zoomed in one when the ipad is turned but goes back when the page is reloaded in portrait mode.

    Seems like it's being forced into desktop mode, due to the layer slider on your page. If you tried to view your contact page (without layer slider), it doesn't show the desktop version.

    Ah thanks, well spotted. Maybe a dummy Layerslider would do the trick then? I will look into that..! I wonder what they are doing that is able to force that to happen.

    That works! Well mostly anyway - with a blank layerslider in a fullwidth code section forces it to display the desktop version, menu and all! Only snag is the rotate - when the ipad rotates to landscape and back to portrait it goes to that ugly mobile version again. Anyway, this is a huuuuge improvement for me. So it seems it is obviously possible to force this display mode, wonder what the key code is in the Layerslider. Someone more knowledgeable than me will hopefully figure out the override and save the hassle of adding the plugin.
