    Hello,
I recently finished up designing the desktop version of our divi site, but when viewing the pages on mobile, I found that all of the header images are HUGE and are being cut off. It just crops the picture. How do I make the header images responsive so they show up on mobile the same as desktop?

I believe you're referring to the background image.

Try to make the background image size to be Fit & it will show up the same across different screen size.
**But it may cause unwanted behavior due to your content within the background image.

That helped! The picture now fits on my phone, but (as you predicted) there is a lot of additional white space above and below the picture because of the text in the header. Any way to solve this?

I roughly did something similar & exported it. Try to download the .json file & import it in Divi Library.

To use it, just go to edit your page in Divi Builder & Add a new section > Add from library > Responsive Section

This didn't really fix the problem either. However, I did figure it out! I will describe below what I did in case others view this thread with a similar problem.
I inserted a new section, and set the section's background as my image (NOTE: I cropped all of these pictures in Adobe Illustrator so they would all match on my website. The aspect ratio is roughly 3:1 length/width).
I turned off the parallax effect, and set the background image position to "cover."
I left the sections default settings for sizing and spacing, EXCEPT:
    - For spacing, I set the desktop padding top/bottom to 13vw, and the right padding to 0px.
    - For spacing, I set the mobile padding top/bottom to 12vw.
