Divi Ultimate - Future Updates

    Divi Ultimate Child Theme

    Hey guys

    I have a couple of sites with Divi Ultimate installed, and have noticed that over the last year or more no new versions have been released.

    My worry is, that with Divi constantly changing so much, if no updated versions of Divi Ultimate are released, eventually our sites that run it will have issues.

    So I'm wondering, does anyone know if new versions of Divi Ultimate will be released as and when required?

    So far, our child theme works just fine with the latest version of Divi. None reported any issue for now.

    We coded it in a way where it should works fine with any version of Divi, unless there's a structural change in Divi itself. For example, the major Divi 4.0 update.

    Whenever that happens, we will update our products accordingly to fix the issues that arise. But so far, our child theme works fine with every Divi minor updates.

    I'm confident Divi Ultimate (DU) will stay here forever as the team behind it is very responsive.

    I have a question about the new Divi 4.0.

    1. Divi now comes with Theme Builder (Header, Body & Footer), will DU consider upgrading to include separate Header & Footer (so we can upload to Theme Builder) in the next upgrade?

    2. Do you consider to integrate simple plugins like Popup and Promotion Bar? If these are included, we can save time by installing a single Divi Ultimate (DU) plugin only (no need to install 2 WP Plugins separately). These two simple plugins are very popular and essential for almost all websites.

    Sorry to say that currently we are not planning to add any new features for Divi Ultimate Child Theme.

    But we will make sure all the existing features will work with the latest version of Divi.

    ===========

    As for the custom header styles, you may load our premade header style in Divi Theme Builder, but you will need to set up the mobile menu as well.

    Cause if you're using our custom header feature (which we recommended), it will revert back to use the default Divi header in mobile, so that you don't have to mess with the mobile menu & you get to choose slide in / fullscreen menu in mobile.

    In Divi Theme Builder, it will wipe out the default Divi header in mobile & you will need to build the mobile menu using Divi Builder.

    As for our vertical navigation style, it's much more complicated with custom JS & it only works properly when using it with our custom header feature. It doesn't work well with Divi Theme Builder.
