Search module retuning no Search Results

I have added a Search Module to the footer of a site - the module appears as it should. When I enter a search term, a word, category, page even, the Search page does come up (as it is built in the Theme Builder) but I get zero results.

Example: I enter "Sourdough" as a search term, the site has multiple posts on sourdough, even a sourdough category, but no results come up - I do see Results for "sourdough" on the page.

Really baffled - do I have something checked somewhere that is causing this?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

 

Additional details - it is not an issue with the Footer - the same issue happens no matter where I put a Search Module on the site. I also installed another search plugin, Ajax Search Lite, and it also produced the same results - none.
