Trying to target an et-pb-icon span class to change on click?

    <span class="et-pb-icon" style="font-size: 1em;}">9 </span></p> basically want to change the 9 to a 7 on click within a text module so that the right arrow changes to a down arrow, any ideas how to do this?

    I know it involves jquery but im having trouble targeting the class, i've tried adding an extra class and using css to rotate it but to no avail so I thought there was maybe a solution using jquery to change the 9 to a 7 on click which would change the icon, any help much appreciated
