Solved Where do I create the sidebar?

    Hi everyone,
    I'm a newb, and I'm hoping to gain some clarity on where I need to create the sidebar for my blog:
    1. In the blogpost template, or
    2. On the blog page?
    If it's in the blogpost template, is it possible to turn an existing post into a template and then add the sidebar? I would be grateful for some step-by-step directions if this is possible?

    Simply create a new blog post, which will take you the post settings page. If you scroll down on the right, you will find a page layout setting. There you can choose whether you want a right or left sidebar, or no sidebar at all.

    Are you referring to adding items to your sidebar? If that's the case, you can do so at: WP Admin > Appearance > Widgets

    But if you're looking to create a global blog post template with sidebar, then you may create it at WP Admin > Divi > Theme Builder.
