How can I avoid the loading issues on my Divi pages?

(Caveat: I'm not the developer, but want to make sure I can provide him with some direction.)

We launched a new version of our website last week and, as you can see from the link below, there is a split-second loading issue where the page loads some text overlay before it loads the top image on the page.

Any idea how to prevent this?

    Thanks in advance

HI ya, not sure, but my suggestion would be to turn off either Divi Critical CSS or Dynamic CSS (can't remember which one.., try one then the other ). I would also consider 1. using your own uploaded fonts in woff and woff2 format instead of OTF. 2. you have a lot loading in the above fold area e.g mega menu (most likely uses js), and CSS, background image etc., so use a caching strategy that preloads your custom fonts, and make sure you exclude the background image from lazy loading (wordpress if your not using lazyloading in another plugin automatically lazy loads everything :0). Divi is such a pain with CLS so I moved away from it recently other than pretty basic info sites ). Cheers
