Is WP's Image Resizing necessary with Divi?

    When I upload media (images), WordPress automatically makes a number of different copies in various sizes. It takes up a lot of space and seems to be largely unnecessary.
    1. Does the Divi theme have any use for these resized image copies?
    2. Can I turn off this option and delete the copies?
    3. What's the best way to stop the copies from being made -- set all dimensions to 0 in "Media Settings"?

    So they are unnecessary, right?

    This post says not to disable any image sizes required by your theme. But what is required by Divi and when?
