    You may change the menu padding CSS that at: Menu module settings > Advanced > Custom CSS > First Level Menu Links

    But you will notice that only the menu is shrinking, not the spacing. This is because of your logo image taking up the height. You might want to reupload a new logo image with lesser top & bottom white spacing.

    So that raised the menu system up and down but it didn't reduce the white space in the actual row where the menu resides. Are you saying the logo has that much white space on the top and bottom? I thought at one point I had this row much shorter so that there was not that much white space above and below the menu

    Yup. Your row is still remaining the height due to the logo image height. You will have to crop your logo image extra white spacing.

    Ok I cut the white space on the top and bottom of the logo. The menu system looks great but now the logo is not centered not sure how to center the logo vertically if I add padding to the logo, it will add space and uncenter the menu. Also how do I add more padding between the menu items - Home, Angels in Light, etc.?

    Just go to the logo image module settings & add some padding top to it. For example, 7px padding top.
    Similarly to previous question, you may change the menu padding CSS that at: Menu module settings > Advanced > Custom CSS > First Level Menu Links

    Currently, it's padding: 33px 5px!important;
    You may change it to: padding: 33px 12px!important;

    So as I stated above the menu system padding on top and bottom is perfect but for some reason where the logo is there is more spacing under the logo. Perhaps I need custom CSS to center the logo vertically?

    You just need to go to the logo image module settings & add some padding top to make it looked centred.
