Solved Problem with Blog Module

Hello! I'm having problems with the blog modules on my website. Any module that is set to display only 1 post is now showing 6 posts--5 of which are not mine. When I click on the links to those blogs, it takes me back to the home page. These posts are not my posts. They don't exist as blog posts as far as I can tell. This isn't a problem when I have 2+ blog posts, only 1.

Any ideas what might be going wrong? Everything worked fine until a week or so ago. I haven't made any major website changes in a while.

    Thanks for any help!

Have you checked WP Admin > Posts > All Posts & see if there's any additional posts in there.

Normally, I believe if the post is set as sticky post, it will show in your blog module, even if you only set the blog module to have 1 post. Meaning it will end up with sticky posts + x posts set by the blog module.

But first thing is to check whether those posts is located in your WP Admin > Posts > All Posts

Yes, that's what I meant when I said they don't exist as blog posts. Thanks for the idea, though!

I ended up getting help from Divi's website. The issue was a plug in! I deactivated all of them, and then slowly reactivated until I found the problem. All is good now.

    Hi Margaret,

The same thing has happened to me. Do you remember which plugin was causing the issue?

    Thanks
