Solved Google Chrome error after hover an image

I use an image module where the image changes when I hover over it. It works well in Safari, but in Google Chrome, there's an issue. When I stop hovering, the original image disappears. What should I do?

    Hi Dome,

Thanks for the link. The issue here is that the images are using "http" rather than "https" in their URLs. Google Chrome's security policy is blocking the images from being loaded using (insecure) http into a (secure) https page. Presumably Safari is allowing this.

The solution is to change your image module to reference the https version of the images. There are a few ways this might be done. First, it looks like the source images were uploaded back in 2016, presumably when the site ran over http. If you download the images and re-upload them / add the newly uploaded versions into the image module, that may be enough to sort it out.

Alternatively, you could try re-adding the images to the image module, but use the "Insert from URL" option in the media library. Enter the URL as the https version of the images, i.e.:

    https://www.kanegraphical.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/02/9x6_DT_NCUA_S.jpg

    and

    https://www.kanegraphical.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/02/9x6_DT_FDIC_N_Blk.jpg

If neither of those help, you could try enforcing https site-wide using a plugin such as:

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/really-simple-ssl/

I haven't tested this myself yet, so I'm not sure which of these will solve it. If none of them do, let me know and I'll try to come up with some other options.

Thank you! As you mentioned, I just had to re-add the images. I re-selected them, saved the changes, and it worked! It seems the image links were updated just by doing this.
