How do you add a box behind your slider text? The text overlay option only adds the overlay to the subtitle text and not the main text.

Hey Khalid, are you able to share a link to an example page? My understanding is that the overlay will be placed behind the slide title and description - i.e. all the text in the slider (except the button). But perhaps I'm missing something?

Thanks Khalid, no problem at all!

It looks like the issue is that your slide titles have a negative top margin set which is moving the title up and out of the overlay area. You should be able to fix this by removing the negative top margin. I'm not sure exactly where you have it set - possibly in the Fullwidth Slider settings under "Advanced > Custom CSS > Module Elements > Slide Title". If you can track it down and set it to 0px that will place the title back in side the overlay.

After doing that, if you want to keep the text in its currently position, you may want to instead place the negative margin on the "Slide Description" instead, so that the entire overlay moves up (but keeps its size).

If you can't find where you have the negative margin configured, you can use the following CSS to make the changes:

Hope that helps, and hope you weren't affected too badly by Milton.

    Hi Dan,

It was indeed in "Slide Title" and moving it to "Slide Description" did the trick. Thank you so much for your help and the kind words. We lost power for four days during Milton, but, overall very lucky.

You're very welcome, Khalid. I'm glad that helped. And I'm very glad to hear you escaped the worst of it.
