Solved Can't find divi theme advanced submenu

Check in the Theme Builder (Divi -> Theme Builder) instead of the library - perhaps the current version is defined in one of the templates there.

Otherwise, are you able to share a link to the site you're working on and point out which item you want to change? If we can see how you have the menu set up on the frontend we may be able to point you to where it can be edited on the backend.

I haven't worked through the Elegant Themes tutorial myself but reading through it, it sounds like the layout you're seeing in the library is the original import and then this will have been copied into the global header which will be where your current menu items are. However, I suspect that the code entered in the code module may be hiding the blurbs in the visual editor, by moving them into the menu and making them no longer accessible via the visual builder preview. If this is the case, then you should may still be able to access them through either the wireframe mode:

If you still don't see them in there, you may need to temporarily disable or remove the code module (save the code before you do), to prevent it from blocking editing of the modules.
