Repeated "Clear CSS Cache" issue

    Hi.
    • The other day I noticed my website had lost all its styling, and the background was white instead of black - I understand this is the default for DIVI. The issue was present all browsers, in Private mode, and on a different computer, so it's definitely not a local caching issue.

    • This resolved the issue and restored my custom CSS: DIVI → Theme Options → Builder → Clear CSS Cache
    • Today the same thing happened again - the website lost all its styling and the background was white again. Selecting "Clear CSS Cache" fixed it again.

    • I haven't made any changes to the website since I last cleared the cache. I would have expected the CSS cache to have cache my custom CSS.

I'm on DIVI 5.6.2. I would prefer not to turn CSS caching off. I am unsure why it isn't caching the existing CSS. Any ideas?

For Divi 5, there's no option to turn off static CSS cache. Perhaps you're running on Divi 4?

For Divi 4, there's issue with CSS cache + third party cache plugin. The only way is to disable the CSS cache option.

But for Divi 5, they added compatibility to make the built-in CSS cache to work with third party cache plugin. But if you're running Divi 5, but still facing the cache issue, you should report the bug to official Divi support at: https://www.elegantthemes.com/members-area/help/
